Vishakha Group conducted a skill development initiative at Sabarmati Central Jail, Ahmedabad, with the objective of enabling inmates with practical skills and learning opportunities that can support greater self-reliance.
The initiative focused on vocational learning, including tailoring and digital education, helping
participants develop useful capabilities that can contribute to livelihood opportunities and
support their journey towards reintegration into society
Alongside the training activities, Vishakha Group distributed learning and utility materials to the
participants and their families, adding a thoughtful dimension to the initiative.
Through such efforts, Vishakha seeks to create opportunities for individuals to learn, build
confidence and develop skills for the future.
